Job Title: Rapid Response Homecare Assistant (Driver)
Location: South Lakes and Lancashire
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: £12.00 – £13.00 Per Hour
Job Summary: The Rapid Response Homecare Assistant provides immediate, compassionate, and high-quality care to Service Users in their homes. This role involves responding quickly to urgent care needs, providing support during crises, and ensuring continuity of care for individuals with various medical and personal needs. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, empathetic, and skilled in managing stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Quickly respond to urgent care needs.
- Personal Care: Assist Service Users with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Medical Support: Administer prescribed creams and medications
- Safety and Risk Management: Ensure the safety of Service Users by assessing their living environment and addressing potential hazards. Follow protocols for emergency situations.
- Service Users Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers to provide updates on care and address concerns.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Service Users, including any changes in condition, medication administration, and incidents.
- Training and Compliance: Stay current with training and adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
